“I know” is a serious problem

Unless experienced, all the “I know” knowledge is useless and it’s mostly a replica of someone’s words.

You can never become the owner of those words until you experience them in real. This is why practicals are more important than the theory.

There is a saying in Tamil language which literally translates as

A vegetable drawn on the paper cannot be used to cook

clearly stating the importance of experiencing than just holding on to the knowledge.
